Tourists from France, Germany and Ireland chose Iran as the 11th destination of their cycling tour.
According to the Maku Free Zone news site, these tourists obtained the necessary information for their trip in Iran by visiting the tourism guide office of the Free Zone Organization upon arrival at the Bazergan border.
Mike, a citizen of Germany, Colin, a citizen of France, and Johnny, a citizen of Ireland, have been out of their country for more than a year, and after riding in ten countries, they have chosen Iran as their next destination.
These three cyclists, who entered Iran from Bazergan border located in Maku Free Zone, received the necessary guidance at the tourism office located in Bazergan Customs at the beginning of their arrival and acknowledged that Iran is the first country to provide such facilities for foreign tourists and this is a sign of hospitality of Iranians.
Colin states that before entering any country, we carry out the necessary studies and investigations about that country, and in these investigations, it became clear to us that the real Iran is completely different from the Iran that is presented in the western media. Only by traveling to this country, these false perceptions created by the media will be erased from the mind of every fair person.
Johnny, a citizen of Ireland, introduces Iranians as very warm and hospitable and says that after being among five families in Baghcheh Jough, who made us a group of guests in their home and gave us the experience of a real Iranian life, we found that life with emotions and feelings is much more pleasant than a life devoid of feelings.
The Iranian dishes served to us in all three meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, will be among the most memorable dishes in the world for us.
After two days of traveling among the local people of Maku Free Zone, all three tourists believe that this area has the potential to become a tourist area, because besides the beautiful natural scenery, there are valuable historical monuments in this area.
