The Managing Director of Maku Free Zone Organization announced a big event in the investment in the field of tourism and said: At the presence of all the tourism-related organizations of the Aras area, an investment memorandum was signed with a private company.
According to the news site of Maku Free Zone, Hosein Garousi on the sidelines of the signing of the memorandum of understanding on investment in the field of tourism between Maku Free Zone Organization, private sector tourism holding, East and West Azerbaijan regional water companies and water resources management company, added: The investment of this successful holding in tourism and environmental protection is a revolutionary step for creating wealth from the existing potentials of Maku Free Zone.
He added: Maku Free Zone has God-given capacities for agriculture and tourism, but so far these capacities have not been fully utilized in order to generate wealth for the region, and we must look for transformative projects with the participation of successful investment companies.
Garousi pointed out: Based on this memorandum, tourism investment projects along the side of Aras River from the promenade of the Aras Dam to the Sorayya spring will be implemented with the cooperation of the parties.
By setting off mixed tourism, in addition to domestic tourists, we will witness the presence of foreign tourists in this region by the end of the year, he emphasized and added: light and prefabricated hotels compatible with the environment will be built by private sector investors in the target areas of this region.
