Investment capacities in the downstream petrochemical industry sector of the Maku Free Zone were explained to South Korean investors in a meeting with the economic and investment deputy of Maku Free Zone Organization. In this meeting, the economic and investment deputy of Maku Free Zone Organization, explaining the investment capacities and unique advantages of the Maku Free Zone, said: Considering the geographical location of the Maku Free Zone, in terms of the on land export route of the country’s petrochemical products from Bazergan customs, as well as other legal and unique advantages, operating in Maku Free Zone is profitable for investors.
Production and export of products needed by the downstream petrochemical industry is one of the important priorities for the development of regional industries, and due to availability of the required infrastructure, formation of production activities in the industrial parks of the region is the basis for attracting investors especially foreign investors, Feridoun Fadaei Dovlat added.
He claimed that the above investment plan is a 100-million-dollar investment plan and will create 70 job opportunities.
