According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of Maku Free Zone Organization, meeting of the business delegation of Belarus, including the Chamber of Commerce and four companies in the fields of transportation, logistics, storage industry, wood industry, technical and refrigeration industry, with economic and commercial activists of Maku Free Zone was held in order to discuss and exchange opinions in the field of expanding cooperation.
Hosein Garousi in this meeting said: We have formed the Economic Diplomacy Group in Maku Free Zone Organization to strengthen the organization’s foreign relations. Due to the neighboring different countries, a good market in the field of transportation and logistics is available for us, and this market can also be provided for Belarus with mutual cooperation.
He pointed out: Iran’s free zones are located at border points, and therefore there is a possibility of re-exporting manufactured products.
Garousi acknowledged: Considering the imposition of new sanctions on Belarus, we can transfer the experience of how to deal with the sanctions.
Garousi said: Financial cooperation, for example, can be formed with the establishment of the Offshore Bank in cooperation with Iran, Belarus and Russia.
Hamzeh Hourasi, the Economic and Investment Deputy of the organization, also announced that we are ready to hand over land for the establishment of wood city by investors, especially foreign investors.
In this meeting, the activists of the mentioned fields expressed their capabilities, opportunities and areas of cooperation.
